The first School Finance Reform Task Force meeting was held at the capitol in St. Paul, Oct. 30. The meeting was chaired by Task Force co-chair Rep. Mindy Greiling (DFL-Roseville). Sen. Terri Bonoff (DFL-Minnetonka) is co-chair of the Task Force.
The committee devoted two thirds of the two-hour meeting to the P.S. Minnesota funding framework. Chair Greiling on several occasions offered up our funding framework as an excellent starting point for their continued conversations and it is apparent that she intends to rely on us for support and assistance as the Task Force moves forward.
